Dr. Jennifer Babik

Jennifer Babik is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at UCSF. She specializes in clinical infectious diseases, with a particular focus on infections in immunocompromised hosts. She attends on the Immunocompromised Host and General Infectious Diseases Consult Services as well as the Internal Medicine teaching wards. She is also very interested in medical education, in particular the intersection of subspecialty education and residency training. She is an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency and also the Infectious Diseases Fellowship at UCSF. She teaches about infectious diseases in various courses for students, residents, fellows, and faculty.

Dr. Saman Nematollahi

Saman (TxID_Edu) is from Tucson, AZ. He graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and finished internal medicine residency at Columbia. He is currently a second year ID fellow at Johns Hopkins. He is interested in transplant ID and is obtaining a Master’s of Education in the Health Professions at The Johns Hopkins School of Education. He enjoys cooking with Reza and washing the dishes. In his spare time, he loves to watch PJ Masks with his wife and son, who was featured in Episode 42 as AstroBoy.
